Fujifilm Superia X-TRA 800 (Expired 2010 | Cold Stored)
Fujifilm Superia X-TRA 800 is a discontinued high-speed color negative film with a very recognizable Fuji look. This roll expired in 2010 and was cold-stored, so the colors are largely intact, though age has introduced some characteristics you should be aware of.
Look & Color
This film is particularly strong in blues and greens, which tend to come out rich and slightly cool. It has a distinct color palette that differs noticeably from current-generation color negative films. Grain is present and visible, but not unpleasant.
There is some base fog, which is expected for film of this age. This results in slightly lower contrast and a mild haze, especially in shadows.
Shooting Recommendations
Best shot at ISO 200
- Overexposing by about 2 stops helps control fog, improves shadow detail, and gives better overall color balance.
- Works well in daylight and evenly lit scenes.
- Not recommended if you are looking for clean, neutral negatives.

Availability
Superia X-TRA 800 is no longer manufactured and is hard to find today, especially in good storage condition. We have limited stock available.
This film is best suited for photographers who are comfortable working with expired stock and want a specific, non-modern Fuji color rendering rather than perfect consistency.
